This Privacy Policy explains how Clarity Works, Inc. ("Clarity Works," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Sage (the "Service"). By using Sage, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and account details, along with the content you create or share within the Service.

When you connect a third-party account, we access only the data needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

• Google Calendar. With your authorization, Sage accesses your Google Calendar to read event details (such as titles, times, and participants) so the Service can surface items relevant to how you manage your work and team.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as log data, device and browser type, and usage activity, to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To surface relevant activity and support your workflows within Sage.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• To secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.

Google user data

Sage's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

• We use Google Calendar data solely to provide and improve user-facing features of the Service.
• We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
• Humans do not read Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service under confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us, and we will delete it unless we are required to retain it by law.

Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and continually improve our practices.

Your choices

You can disconnect your Google account at any time through your Sage settings or through your Google Account permissions. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
